Delete Your Account
You can delete your Meaple account directly from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and immediate — all your data will be removed from our systems.
How to Delete Your Account
Open the Meaple app on your device and sign in
Tap the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner of the home screen
Scroll down to the Account section
Tap "Delete account and data" (shown in red)
Tap "Delete account" on the first confirmation prompt
Tap "Delete forever" to permanently delete your account and all data
Warning: This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials (email and password)
- Your profile data (name, age, height, weight, goals)
- All meal logs and AI coaching history
- Meal images stored in our file storage
- Weight tracking history
- All other data associated with your account
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID account settings before deleting your account.
Your Rights Under GDPR
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to erasure of your personal data. Deleting your account via the app exercises this right and permanently removes all your data from our systems. If you need to submit a formal data erasure request, contact us at [email protected].
