How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Meaple → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open Meaple → tap the Settings gear icon → scroll to Account → tap "Delete account and data" (in red) → confirm twice. Everything is permanently deleted immediately.

What does the AI send to Google?

When you scan a meal, Meaple sends your meal photo, your health goal, your effort level, and your daily point budget to Google Gemini. Google does not use this data to train its AI models.

The AI gave me a weird point score — what do I do?

AI estimates aren't perfect, especially for mixed dishes or unusual lighting. Try retaking the photo with better light. If scores are consistently off, let us know — we'd love the feedback.

I bought a subscription but the app still shows Free.

Pull down to refresh the home screen, or sign out and back in. If it still shows Free after a minute, contact us with your Apple ID email and purchase date and we'll sort it out.

Can I use Meaple without the AI scanning?

The AI meal scan is the core feature of Meaple. You can still view your meal history and weight log without scanning, but adding new meals requires the camera feature.
